Reverend D.W. Townsend
Reverend D.W. Townsend, has been the Pastor of Winn’s Memorial Baptist Church since October 3, 2001. He is the Elgin Sub-District President. He was born in Austin, Texas. He is married to Sister Rose Townsend and they have three daughters, Tamika (deceased), LaToia and LaQuesha. They also have one son David Wayne Townsend, Jr. He is the proud grandfather of three and the great grandfather of two.
He attended Truitt Seminary at Baylor University pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. He enjoys reading, teaching and preaching God’s uncompromising gospel.
